Swimming!

On one of our very few hot summer days, we took the boys swimming! It was Brock's first time in the pool and he LOVED it! Of course, I don't have any pictures of him actually in the pool, because we were all in the pool. But, Brock got cold, so he and I got out and I snapped a few of Nigel and Caden swimming!

Nigel and Caden going down the big slide! This was a FAST slide, but so fun! The first time these 2 went down, Nigel didn't realize how quick the end was coming up and didn't have Caden up above the water. Caden went all the way down with Nigel. He was fine, but he was definitely more timid when Nigel finally talked him into going again. But one thing Caden LOVES doing is jumping into his daddy's arms. There's nothing like the trust that your kids have in you. Trust that you aren't going to drop them, no matter what. It's amazing :)

Swimming can be exhausting! Brock was instantly asleep when we put him in the car.

And then he woke up.......hot and hungry.

I don't know what it is about this face, but I love it. Even though I know he's so mad at this moment, I love this face he's making!

Ahh, finally settled. Maybe because he heard us say the word, "milkshake". He got nice and quiet and ready to enjoy his delicious treat :) Unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures of him sucking down his chocolate milkshake, but trust me, he LOVED it!
