Just a little fun outside with the camera!

One nice, warm, sunny day, Caden, Brock and I decided to head outside and just play around. I took the camera and we were just having fun. Caden was being silly and letting his personality shine through for the camera - which doesn't happen very often. And Brock, well, he's never as happy as he is when he's outside. Not to mention outside wearing only a diaper! Plus, he got his first real look (and feel) of the grass :) Enjoy the pictures, they're some of my favorites!

Brock, although he's very, very difficult, he's also so sweet and so charming :) His smile is enough to make me want to do it all again tomorrow!

Thirsty?

Brock always wants to get our cups when we eat dinner. He always sits in the bumbo and watches us eat. So, one day, I decided to give him a sippy cup to play with. He didn't just play with it - he latched on :) There wasn't anything in it, but he was sucking on it like crazy! It was so cute. Since then, we've tried putting a little water in it, he kinda likes it!

Another baby play date!

So my friends and I, who all have babies about the same age, got together for another play date :) It was again, so much fun! However, apparently, I need to teach Brock a little bit about personal space! Poor Wyatt, although, he never really fussed about it! And Brock sure got a kick out of it all!

Jump-a-roo!

We decided that Brock needed something to do. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. But, when he likes it, he really really likes it! Plus, it offers a different perspective on life every once in a while. And, he looks so darn cute in it!

Come on, seriously. You know it's the cutest face you've ever seen :)

Where's Caden?

Nigel and Caden like to play silly games. So, here's an example of one of their silly ways of playing together. Don't worry, Caden was all for it, he loved it!

Kids bowl free...

This summer, I signed Caden up for the kids bowl free program. Summer was here for a while and we never went - until it was the last week! Oh well, we still had a blast! Caden had so much fun bowling. He did pretty good just pushing the ball down the lane, but it went SOOOOOO SLOOOOOOW. So, we found a little bowling helper thing that you set the ball on the top of it and it rolls down a "hill" and goes a little faster. That was more fun. I can't believe he's such a big boy! I forget that he's big enough to do a lot of things on his own. It's hard to let go of wanting to help your baby, but he definitely lets me know that I should let him do it by himself!

Brotherly Love...

It is so sweet how much these boys love eachother :) Caden wants Brock to always be sitting next to him - when we're eating, when we're playing, whenever - Caden loves watching him, making faces at him, squealing at him, growling at him. And Brock eats it all up. He LOVES everything about Caden. Even the things that Caden does to Brock that I think are going to make Brock scream, Brock LOVES it. It's so cute. Brock can do anything to Caden, pull his hair, kick him, pinch him, grab him, and Caden loves it. It's going to be so sweet when they can actually play together! Baby Legs!

Let me just say, I LOVE Baby Legs! They are seriously like baby leg warmers. These were a gift for Jude when he was a baby, so of course, Brock got to use them too. I can't get enough of them, seriously. They are so cute :) And also, Brock's loving that he can hold toys now. He loves to shake the rattles so that he hears the noise that they make :) He's getting too big!
